The Research Fab Microelectronics Germany (FMD) is now scouting for teams with innovative ideas which, on their way to entrepreneurial breakthrough, still face challenges in the field of microelectronics.

The FMD-Space offers the German Startup Ecosystem a support program that gives startups access to development of microelectronic components.

The program allows founders to, together with experts from the Research Fab’s 13 institutes, develop a first demonstrator or refine a current technology for a new generation of products.

In addition, they profit from tailor-made formats for developing their business model and their team, in order to be able to realize their vision.

The FMD-Space gives startups access to:

• Europe’s largest machine park in the field of nano- and microelectronics
• The knowledge and experience of 2000 scientists
• The world’s largest pool of technology and IP rights in the field of smart systems
